PROVO, Utah. — In a dramatic finish, Pavan Sagoo won his second career medalist honor after scoring a birdie in the first sudden death playoff hole at the 2017 Ping Cougar Classic at Riverside Country Club, Tuesday afternoon.
Today’s victory is the first medalist finish for Sagoo since he claimed the individual title at the Nick Watney Invitational in October 2015.
“Pavan did a great job of staying patient and taking what the course game him,” said Saint Mary’s head coach Scott Hardy. “His iron game was solid and he kept fighting the entire tournament.
