GOLF | Rappleye Earns 2nd WCC All-Academic Honor

SAN BRUNO, Calif. -- For the second straight year, Saint Mary's junior Hunter Rappleye was honored by the West Coast Conference as a member of the league's All-Academic Men's Golf Team.

At the conclusion of each athletic season, the WCC selects an all-academic squad for each WCC-sponsored sport. To be considered, a student-athlete must maintain at least a 3.20 cumulative grade point average, while also being a significant contributor to his team.

A native of Sacramento, Rappleye owns a 3.49 cumulative grade point average toward a Saint Mary's degree in mathematics. He is one of just three golfers on this year's SMC golf team that participated in all 12 events during the season and helped the Gaels win their third WCC championship in the last five seasons.
