UNIVERSITY PLACE, Wash. — Blake Hathcoat and Michael Slesinski advanced to the Round of 16 of the US Amateur Four-Ball Championship hosted at Chambers Bay Golf Course after strong performances in the early days of the event.
Hathcoat and Slesinski finished third at the qualifying event hosted by the NCGA at Spyglass Hill earlier this month to advance to the tournament taking place this week. The Championship welcomed 127 other amateur duos who were top finishers in their respective local tournaments.
The Championship began on Saturday with a round of stroke play and continued to Sunday with a second round to determine the top 32 pairs.
