DANVILLE, Calif. -- The Saint Mary's golf team owns a substantial 22-stroke lead, while senior Jonathan De Los Reyes stretched his individual lead to 6 strokes headed into tomorrow's final round of the West Coast Conference Championships at Blackhawk Country Club.
For the second straight day, the Gaels posted the best team score among the 9-team field. Their 2-under par 286 was five strokes better than Pepperdine and BYU, which moved into the runner-up and third place spots on the leaderboard.
With rounds of 273-286, Saint Mary's enters tomorrow's final round at 17-under par and is 22-strokes ahead of the Waves.
