TOLEDO, Ohio — Saint Mary’s improved its team score by more than 10 strokes and moved two spots up the leaderboard Tuesday in the final round of the Inverness Intercollegiate at Inverness Golf Club.
The Gaels shot an even-par 284 as a team Tuesday after shooting 14-over and 12-over, respectively, in Monday’s first two rounds. The Gaels elevated to a tie for eighth in the team standings after sitting in 10th after two rounds. Auburn won the team title with a nine-under 843 total.
Saint Mary’s efforts were spearheaded by Perry Cohen, who tied for the fourth-lowest round of the day with a 3-under 68.
