FRESNO, Calif. — Fresh off a first place finish at the Inverness Intercollegiate in Toledo, the Gaels will look to continue their early season dominance this week at the Nick Watney Invitational. The tournament, hosted by Fresno State, will begin on Monday, Oct. 2 and conclude on Tuesday, Oct. 3 with the final round.
THE FIELD
16 teams will compete in this year's tournament including six other WCC teams. Saint Mary's will tee-off against conference rivals Loyola Marymount, San Francisco, Gonzaga, Pacific, San Diego and last year's tournament champion, BYU. The rest of the field includes Sacramento State, UC Santa Barbara, UC Riverside, UC Irvine, Seattle, Utah, Cal Poly, CSUN, and the host school, Fresno State.
