FAIRFAX, Calif.— Connor Blick carded a new career-low round of 66 earlier today and the Saint Mary’s men’s golf team recorded a season-low 270 in the first 18 holes of competition. The Gaels followed the blistering start with a round of 274 to finish in a tie for first at 24-under par at the Alister Mackenzie Invitational.
Blick’s 66 is the lowest round by a Gael thus far in the fall season. The junior finished the day with rounds of 66-68 to finish at 8-under for the tournament. After winning his first medalist honor at last week’s Nick Watney Invitational, Perry Cohen followed his impressive performance with a complete game from tee-to-green.
