MORAGA, Calif. — After another solid year which saw their third consecutive appearance in the NCAA Regionals, the Saint Mary's golf team is poised to once again compete as a top contender in the West Coast Conference, and in the country with another impressive slate of events for 2017-18.
Reaching the NCAA Regionals last season marked the first time in program history the Gaels advanced to the postseason in three straight seasons.
SMC also had a trio of student-athletes compete in last month's prestigious U.S. Amateur Championship. Three Gaels in a single U.S. Amateur is the most ever in program history.
