PROVO, Utah – The Saint Mary's Golf Team finished the regular season strong on Saturday, climbing up six spots to finish fifth overall as a team.
The Gaels were led by Mitchell Hoey who had the best third round of any golfer in the 92-player field with a 65 on the par-72 course. That monster third round led to him finishing in a tie for 11th overall at 7-under par.
Connor Reis was right behind him as one of three players to shoot a 66 on the final day to finish 5-under par for the tournament.
