TUCSON, Ariz. -- The Saint Mary's golf team arrived in Arizona late Friday and conducted a practice round today at The Golf Club at Dove Mountain in Marana in advance of next week's NCAA Regional.
The West Coast Conference champion Gaels earned the league's at-large entry into the NCAA Chamionships and was selected to play in the NCAA's Tucson Regional at Gallery Golf Club. SMC is seeded ninth and joins top-seeded Stanford, Wake Forest, Cal, Oregon, North Carolina, North Florida, UAB, Georgia Tech, Georgia State, North Texas, Louisiana Tech, UC Riverside and Siena in the 14-team field.
