MORAGA, Calif. — With the start of the 2018-19 golf season less than a month away, Saint Mary's will gear up and look to improve upon their second-place WCC Tournament finish from last year. Helping the Gaels reach that goal this year are three newcomers who will be replacing the four graduating seniors Saint Mary's lost in the spring.
ETHAN ASHBROOK, FRESHMAN
Ashbrook was a four-year letter winner at Saint Joseph and Ernest Righetti High Schools in Santa Maria, Calif. prior to arriving in Moraga. Ashbrook was twice named team MVP, reached the CIF qualifiers three times, and enjoyed multiple first-team all-league awards as a prep.
