LIHU'E, Kaua'i – Day two at the John A. Burns Intercollegiate saw Saint Mary's get off to a good start before fading a bit at the end of round two. The Gaels maintained their position around the fifth to sixth spot in the standings before sliding to 13th to finish the day.

Mitchell Hoey climbed to as high as third place and 7-under par overall before finishing the day 1-over par and 3-under overall. He is still in striking distance to the top of the leaderboard going into day three as he remains in the top 20 golfers in a tie for 18th place out of 101 golfers.
