MOORPARK, Calif. — Saint Mary's will have some catching up to do during the final round of the Rustic Collegiate Classic after a tough opening day that has them in fifth place.
THE LEADERBOARD
Ethan Ashbrook led the team's efforts on Thursday and is tied for seventh at even par after 36 holes. The junior caught fire on the front nine of the middle round with a 4-under score and finished with a 3-under total for the round.
Blake Hathcoat, fresh off a first place finish in the team's last event, shot 4-over on the day and is t-14th.
