MORAGA, Calif. - The Saint Mary's Women's Basketball Team has gotten off to a hot start in the 2021-22 season and Taycee Wedin's late-game heroics have been a major part of the team's 2-0 start.
Wedin scored in double digits in both of the Gaels games so far this season, with 10 points against Nevada and 17 against UC Davis along while hitting the game-winning shot in both games. The second one being a step-back three pointer after a killer crossover to make the defender fall backwards against a UC Davis.
She scored all of her 10 points against Nevada in the fourth quarter, coming in clutch when the Gaels needed it most.
