The weather has not been the most pleasant in the usual sunny Moraga, Calif., but through the rain the baseball team was able to complete two games on the weekend.
Saint Mary’s welcomed in University of Utah for a three-game set, but the teams were only able to play 16 innings in a doubleheader on Saturday.
Saturday morning kicked off with an impressive pitching duel in the early innings. Jayson Rose led Utah on the mound facing off against bona fide ace Corbin Burnes. Burnes finally looked like himself on the mound after struggling to find his form in earlier contests.
