MORAGA, Calif. — After a 77 assist, 8 service ace and 30 dig weekend, Ella Sandt has been named the Shamrock Office Solutions Saint Mary's Student-Athlete of the Week for September 5.
Sandt's week began with a career-high six service ace contest against Southern Utah on Friday night. The six aces tied her for fifth most in a single match and second most for a four set match in program history. Sandt added 29 assists, 7 digs, a kill and a block to her stat line in the Gaels four set victory over the Thunderbirds.
