MORAGA, Calif. — With the return of fall sports in full this past week, Saint Mary's has announced its first Bay Alarm Student-Athlete of the Week. The first installment of the new year goes to Women's Soccer's AnnaMaria DiGeronimo for her efforts in leading the Gaels to an unbeaten week.
DiGeronimo was a huge reason the Gaels came from behind to beat San Diego State at home on Thursday afternoon. She had the primary assist on both goals scored, including the game-winner in the final six minutes of the match. She first sent a great through ball to Alexis Gutierrez midway through the second half, and Gutierrez turned on the jets to score the equalizer.
