MORAGA, Calif. — Hannah Diaz of the Saint Mary’s women’s soccer team was named Muscle Milk Player of the Week for the week of Oct. 31- Nov. 6 after she recorded her seventh goal of the year in an impressive season finale win over Loyola Marymount.
Diaz got on the scoreboard in the 28th minute with one of her textbook goals. Collecting the ball at the midfield, Diaz used her pace to get by defenders. At the left corner of the 18 yard box, the junior blasted a shot past the Lions keeper to help the Gaels to the 2-1 victory.
