MORAGA, Calif. — In their penultimate game of the season, Saint Mary’s took down San Diego (9-8-1, 4-4 WCC) in a 3-1 win at Saint Mary’s Stadium on Saturday afternoon.
"I thought we played really hard today from both sides of the field," said Saint Mary's head coach Travis Clarke. "We were in the game like we have been all season, and I am really proud of the way the team executed the game plan today."
The Gaels (4-13-2, 1-7 WCC) were led on offense by junior Hannah Diaz, who recorded a goal and two assists in the victory.
