MORAGA, Calif. – A week full of career and game highs for SMC Women's Basketball player Tayla Dalton, has earned her the Bay Alarm Student-Athlete of the Week Award.
Dalton had a career high 20 points and six three pointers at Montana State on Monday, and a game-high 18 points in a win at Pacific on Saturday.
The Auckland, New Zealand native went 6 of 10 from three-point range in her 20-point performance, keeping the Gaels alive against the Bobcats in Bozeman, Mont. She was 8 of 10 from the free-throw line in her 18-point game against the Tigers, while also dishing out five assists and collecting five rebounds in the WCC opener.
