MORAGA, Calif. — Jaylen Crim has been named the Muscle Milk Student-Athlete of the Week for the week of Aug. 20-26 for her superb performance at the TD Bank Classic this past weekend in Vermont.
On Friday against Vermont, Crim set up Kaitlin Groleau to tie the match at 1-1 and took three shots in the Gaels' eventual 3-2 double-overtime time. In the tournament final on Sunday, the junior curled a cross through the box to Jordyn Cunningham who headed it past the Black Bears keeper to equalize in the second half.
