SAN JOSE, Calif. — Eight Gaels pairs spent their Friday afternoon on the sand on the campus of San Jose State in their first pairs event of the year. Every single pair recorded at least one win, in what looks like an exciting preview for the upcoming 2024 season.
Cameron Martnez and Paola Peralta played in three matches, the most of any pair, winning two and splitting a pair of sets for a tie in their third. The duos of Hawley Harrer/Hannah Couch, Allie Cataldo/Sadie Shipman and Sarah Incitti/Chloe Swanson all went a perfect 2-0 in their matches for the afternoon.
