MORAGA, Calif. – The Gaels kicked off their four-match weekend on Friday afternoon with a pair of sweeps against Feather River College and Utah.
The Gaels began Friday with a sweep of Feather River College in which Alexsa "Crash" Parker and Sienna Young were able to hold their opponents to less than ten points in both sets (21-9, 21-5). The Gaels did not allow the Golden Eagles to win a single set in the first match. In the second match of the day, the Gaels completed another sweep, this time of Utah. Freshmen pair Chandler Cowell and Selbie Christensen dominated on court five and won both sets, by nine points and eight points respectively.
