MORAGA, Calif. — The Saint Mary’s women’s volleyball team will be adding much needed depth at the setter position with the transfer of Alexsa “Crash” Parker from New Mexico State.
Parker transfers to Saint Mary’s as a freshman, completing one indoor season at New Mexico State where the Aggies went 24-7. Playing in her first collegiate season, Parker was able to compete in every set of the season totaling 117 sets played. As New Mexico State’s backup setter, Crash racked up 548 assists, averaging 4.68 assists per set. Through 31 games of action, Parker totaled double digit assists in all but two games, with 11 20+ games and one 30 assist game.
