SAN BRUNO, Calif. — Four Saint Mary’s beach volleyball players earned 2016 West Coast Conference All-Academic honors Wednesday, including sophomore Mary Hernandez, who was among 10 individuals named to the WCC All-Academic Team.
Hernandez, who was named WCC Defensive Player of the Year on Thursday, was named to the 10-player WCC All-Academic Team after posting a 3.407 Grade Point Average in Business Administration. She previously was named to the WCC Commissioner’s Honor Roll Bronze List last year for carrying a GPA between 3.00 and 3.49. Teammates Dalas Dodd, Hannah Liserra and Alexis Salmons all earned Honorable Mention accolades.
