BSB | Saint Mary's Snaps Skid With Win Over Nevada

RENO, Nev. — The Saint Mary’s baseball team got back on the winning track Wednesday, snapping a four-game skid with sound pitching and timely hitting in a 6-1 road win over Nevada at Peccole Park.

The Gaels’ (18-10) overcame an early 1-0 deficit with six unanswered runs from the second to ninth innings. It was SMC’s ninth come-from-behind win this season. The victory marked Saint Mary’s second straight season series sweep over the Wolf Pack (8-22) after also sweeping the home-and-home series in 2016.

Kevin Milam led the Gaels’ offense with a 3 for 4 day at the plate that included a ninth-inning insurance home run and a double.
