SAN BRUNO, Calif. — Preseason All-American Zach Kirtley, and senior starting pitchers Cameron Neff and Johnny York were named to the 2017 All-West Coast Conference Preseason Team, announced by the conference Thursday.
Kirtley has twice been named a third team preseason All-American ahead of next week’s opening day, both by Perfect Game/Rawlings and D1Baseball. Kirtley was a first team all-WCC honoree last season and was named the WCC Tournament MVP. He also earned American Baseball Coaches Association second team honors last year after batting .323 with 20 doubles, seven home runs and 43 RBIs.
