MORAGA, Calif. — Redshirt freshman outfielder Edward Haus was named the Muscle Milk Student-Athlete of the Week for the week of May 2-8 after breaking out of a slump with hits in all four of Saint Mary’s games and three multi-RBI games.
Haus had two or more RBIs in each of the Gaels’ three games at Loyola Marymount over the weekend, helping lead SMC to its seventh West Coast Conference series victory in as many tries. He batted .500 for the week with a home run and seven RBIs. He drove in two runs in Friday's 8-3 series-opening win at LMU, then drove in three more from the ninth spot in the order in Saturday's 9-3 series-clinching victory.
