MORAGA, Calif - Gaels fight hard against No.16 Santa Clara Wednesday afternoon.
Santa Clara scored just over a minute into the match and tacked on three more goals in the second half to defeat the Gaels 4-0 in Saint Mary's Stadium.
Thirty seconds after the Broncos scored their first goal, Emily Jensen attempted her first shot of the game right outside the penalty area where Santa Clara's goalkeeper, Marlee Nicholos, made a save. The Broncos outshot SMC 10-4 in the first half. In the 20th and 25th minute Emmie Ennis and Jenson attempted a shot, where both shots were blocked by a Bronco defender.
