MORAGA, Calif. — It's not easy to stymie one of the top offenses in the NCAA, but some pitchers just make it look easy. That was the case on Saturday afternoon for Sam Bower, who helped Saint Mary's Baseball score their first WCC win of the season against the dangerous San Diego Toreros. While earning his third win of the season, he pitched well enough to be named the Bay Alarm Student-Athlete of the Week.
Bower was fantastic again for Saint Mary's as they took down the hot-hitting USD Toreros on Saturday afternoon.
