MORAGA, Calif. — With sports back in action last week, Saint Mary's has awarded its first Bay Alarm Student-Athlete of the Week award of the school year. Taking a starring role while the Gaels were in Australia, junior guard Leemet Bockler of the Men's Basketball team is the first winner of the 2022-23 season.
Bockler played an instrumental role in the Gaels going 6-0 for the first time during a foreign tour. Bockler drew the starting assignment in two of the six games, and was one of the team's leading scorers, putting up a total of 80 points, or 13.
