MORAGA, Calif. — After spending a few seasons at multiple colleges, Blake Mann is heading north to continue his collegiate career. Saint Mary's Baseball welcomes Blake Mann as the latest member of the Gaels 2021 roster, adding a powerful right-handed hitting outfielder to the mix on a team that lacked power in 2020.
Mann began his collegiate career at UC Santa Barbara, where he joined the Gauchos after being a top-ten outfield prospect in the state of California, according to Perfect Game. After seeing limited time during his freshman season and redshirting during 2019, Mann went the junior college route for an abbreviated year in 2020, playing for the College of the Canyons in the Western State Conference.
