MORAGA, Calif. — The Saint Mary's College Athletics Department successfully hosted the 42nd Annual Gael Golf Classic presented by Chevron and Syufy Enterprises earlier this week at Moraga Country Club to benefit Gael student-athletes.
A total of 136 golfers participated in the event including SMC alumni, donors, season ticket holders, local community members, parents, and fans. A number of Saint Mary's coaching staff members were also on hand to compete and student-athletes hosted fun activities throughout the course.
The tournament raised over $140,000 for the Galloping Gaels Fund which supports student-athlete scholarships, facilities, operating budgets, and academic support.
