MORAGA, Calif. — On May 9, 2022, a sold-out field took over the Moraga Country Club for the 43rd Gael Golf Classic presented by Chevron and Syufy Enterprises. This year's event raised over $125,000 for the Galloping Gaels Fund!
Volleyball, Men and Women's Soccer, Women's Basketball, Softball, Baseball, Golf, Cross Country/Track and the SMC Student-Athlete Advisory Committee joined in on the fun with activities and prizes at designated holes. Our Athletic Trainers provided zero gravity chairs, thera guns, and "ice packs".
At the 19th Hole Reception, Vice President for Intercollegiate Athletics, Mike Matoso, recapped the successful year - both athletically and academically.
