Scott Moak, the Kings' popular public address announcer since 2002, announced on his Twitter account he will return as the team's announcer next season.
Moak's return was in question this week when word broke that due to restructuring of the team's administration, Moak would not retain his role as vice president of game entertainment, production and content, a role he has held since last July.
"I am thrilled to announce that I will continue on as your PA announcer, something the Kings had offered and left open for me to consider," Moak tweeted Thursday afternoon.
