According to Ben Dowsett, Deputy Editor of Basketball Insider, the NBA plans on starting a summer league tournament in the city of Sacramento which will begin this upcoming summer.
The report also says that the teams competing in the league will be the Golden State Warriors, Los Angeles Lakers, Miami Heat, and of course, the Sacramento Kings!
Other cities that will host upcoming summer league tournaments will be the cities of Las Vegas and Salt Lake City which already existed in the past.
League sources: In addition to tournaments in Las Vegas and Utah, the NBA plans to introduce a 2018 Sacramento Summer League.
