The NBA has announced that following this evening’s games, the NBA season will be suspended. As of this moment, Kings/Pelicans is still slated to be played. The Kings, as of this writing, are still going to allow fans to attend.
The decision followed the last-second postponement of a Jazz at Thunder game, which was stopped seconds before tipoff. Rudy Gobert has tested positive for coronavirus.
This post will continue to be updated. This is truly unprecedented.
Commentary: I can’t believe the league is going to move forward with this game tonight with fans in attendance. It seems reckless and willfully ignorant by both the league and the Kings organization.
