EuroBasket wrapped up over the weekend with the gold medal game between Germany and Turkey. The Houston Rockets' Alperen Sengun headed up Turkey's squad while the Kings' Dennis Schroeder stood in for Germany.
And Schroeder came to play.
Germany ultimately won the final 88 to 83, securing the gold for their team and country. On top of that, Schroeder received the TISSOT MVP of EuroBasket 2025, an honor he definitively earned with some exceptional play down the stretch.
With a little over a minute left in the game, Germany was down by one point, Schroeder made a layup to take the lead.
