As the countdown continues towards the beginning of the 2025-2026 NBA season, teams start getting their rosters in place. Some of those moves are for training camp, and some will influence the rest of the season. The Sacramento Kings have certainly made their share of trades and cuts.
That being said, there was a hope among fans that the Kings would do more in that regard. Few moves were made to correct the imbalances in the roster that have plagued the team for the past couple of seasons. There is a lot of work to be done.
The front office seemed really focused on bringing in Russell Westbrook, even though such a move wouldn't have fixed those problems.
