Last June, the Sacramento Kings made a surprising decision as they selected Marvin Bagley III with the second overall pick in the 2018 NBA Draft. Many people in the Kings community, including myself, thought that Vlade Divac should have selected Luka Doncic due to him being the more NBA-ready player and filling a positional need. But with that said, Bagley has a higher ceiling than Doncic and a motor that will attract any coach.
As the Kings and their fans have gotten to know more about Bagley, there is another great quality that he possesses.
