Have you seen Harrison Barnes lately? The Sacramento Kings starting small forward is looking a bit rugged these days, with his hair abnormally long and a beard that looks anything but maintained. There is a reason behind the unkempt appearance.
Back in mid-December, Barnes made a vow to not cut his hair or shave his face until the Kings get back to a .500 record, or the season ends, whichever comes first.
While we are not exactly sure what the exact date was when Barnes made his commitment, but mid-December was the last time that the Kings had a realistic shot at having an even record.
