Sacramento Kings Get Overpowered By Nuggets, Lose 130-104

The Kings were solid to begin the game. Their offense was clicking as the team collectively made 48% of their shots while recording seven assists for the quarter. But the Nuggets showed that their offense was on another level. Behind the play of Nikola Jokic, Denver was able to dissect Sacramento’s defense and get easy scores at will, and as a result, the period ended with the Nuggets leading 32-25.

The second quarter was pretty much a replica of the first. Both team’s offenses were good, but Denver was clearly the more efficient team. For the period, the Nuggets scored 34 points and shot 53% from the floor while the Kings scored 24 points and shot 33%.
