Sacramento Kings Foundation to Partner with City of Sacramento, Capitol Area Development Authority to Refurbish Downtown Sacramento Basketball Courts

Sacramento, Calif. – Today, the Sacramento Kings Foundation announced a partnership with the City of Sacramento and Capitol Area Development Authority (CADA) to improve and refurbish the basketball courts at Roosevelt Park in downtown Sacramento as part of the Coors Light Full Court reFRESH program.

Roosevelt Park (1615 9th Street) is one of the oldest and longest standing parks in the Sacramento region. Given its proximity to state offices and residential communities, Roosevelt Park is an active communal space used for a variety of activities, including organized sports play and seasonal farmers markets. Due to heavy use over the years, the park’s facilities and amenities are dated and worn.
