The Sacramento Kings filled a need by selecting skilled Duke big man Marvin Bagley III with the second overall pick in the 2018 NBA Draft. They are hoping Bagley III becomes a superstar and their centerpiece. He should definitely get buckets and rebounds in Sacramento next season.
The Kings had a selection in round two at 37 overall, and they decided to draft Bagley’s Duke teammate Gary Trent Jr. but moved him to Portland shortly after the pick.
