Well, folks. Media day has concluded for the Sacramento Kings which means that their 2018-2019 season is about to begin!
There are many things to take away from the festivities of media day. But maybe the biggest note was that the Kings are making De’Aaron Fox their franchise player going forward.
According to Dave Joerger’s interview with the media, he announced that Fox was the team’s franchise player. He also mentioned how he wants his team to push the pace and play a more up-tempo style of basketball. He did say that all his players will need to commit to the system in order for it to work, but it starts with his second-year guard leading the way.
