Amidst the COVID-19 epidemic, there have been overwhelming acts of generosity displayed by celebrities, athletes, and every day people that give hope to the situation and to humanity in general. The Sacramento Kings organization and their players have been doing what they can to give back to their communities, and now point guard Cory Joseph is chipping in.
In a press release that came out on Wednesday, the Kings announced that Joseph is lending a helping hand to his native Canada. Through Operation Canadian Shield, Joseph and his family are donating face shields to hospital workers on the front lines in his native city of Toronto, Ontario.
