With the Sacramento Kings playing against the Portland Trail Blazers tonight, Buddy Hield had a golden opportunity to get his name in the NBA record books.
Entering the contest, Hield was tied with Blazers point guard Damian Lillard for the most three-pointers made by a player in their first three NBA seasons with 599. But with one game left for the Kings this year, Buddy needed just one shot made from beyond the arc to own the top spot on the list.
Once the game began, Buddy did not waste any time with history on the line.
