The Sacramento Kings are parting ways with their G League team general manager Anthony McClish after three seasons, according to ABC10’s Sean Cunningham. McClish first joined the organization in 2013 before working his way up the ranks. The Kings gave two-way contracts to several players last season, including DaQuan Jeffries, Wenyen Gabriel and Gabe Vincent.
Sacramento also cut several basketball operations positions due to the economic fallout of the pandemic. The team released a statement acknowledging the changes.
“Yesterday, a handful of full-time positions across the basketball operations departments of the Sacramento Kings and Stockton Kings were eliminated due to the ongoing impacts of the pandemic and a reorganization of the team’s basketball operations structure.
