The Sacramento Kings continued their November hot streak on Sunday afternoon by defeating the Boston Celtics who came into the day with the best record in the NBA and were riding a ten-game win streak. There were contributions from a multitude of Kings players, but the true hero of the game was Richaun Holmes.
Holmes has been downright impressive through the first 12 games of the season, averaging career-highs in points (10.7), rebounds (7.4), and blocks (1.3). He has been a big reason for the Kings’ resurgence with his grit and high motor, and his performance in the final minute of Sacramento’s victory over the Celtics was undoubtedly his best of the season.
