The 19-year-old Real Madrid wing was named the Turkish Airlines EuroLeague MVP on Saturday, the youngest player to receive the award, according to EuroLeague.net. He's also a favorite to be taken by the Kings with the second overall pick in the NBA draft on June 21.
In his third pro season, the Solvenian averaged 16.1 points and 4.4 assists. He led the league with a performance index rating of 21.69 entering Sunday's championship game against Fenerbahce Dogus Istanbul.
The teams met in last season's Final Four semifinal, when Bogdan Bogdanovic led Fenerbahce to an 84-75 win en route to the EuroLeague title.
